Sophie fell in love with dance as a toddler and quickly became obsessed with everything dance related. Dance schools were few and far between, growing up in her small French-Canadian farm town in Ontario. However, Sophie was going to be a dancer no matter what, so she pirouetted her way across cow pastures and outdoor hockey games until she moved to the big city and finally received a proper dance education. Her childhood dreams eventually came true and after a twenty-year career as a professional dancer, she discovered her true love of dance wasn’t dance at all, it was choreography. So, she packed away her sequin leotards and shiny dance tights and began building a career in choreography with the same unbreakable force, hair gel has when it slicks back a dancer’s bun.
